The Reigning Classical Guitar Quartet

Grand masters of the guitar, The Romeros take the Leighton Concert Hall’s stage as the only classical guitar quartet of world stature today.

Founded by Celedonio Romero, a renowned soloist in Spain, “The Royal Family of Guitar” dazzles with technique that has built a three generation dynasty. With Celedonio’s legend in the hands of his sons and grandsons, the quartet’s reputation is confirmed by repeated appearances with virtually every major symphony orchestra in the United States.

Their achievement has inspired composers to enrich the repertory of guitar quartet with orchestra, which includes works by such distinguished composers as Joaquín Rodrigo, Federico Moreno Torroba, Morton Gould, Francisco de Madina, Lorenzo Palomo and others.
