Note: An afternoon concert lasting about an hour on the theme of Swans in music and poetry, and Songs such as Rachmaninov's haunting Vocalise, Serenades by French composers and Mendelssohn's swan song: his Song Without Words op109, as well as one or two intruders, such as some geese and one or two Flanders & Swann songs. The concert is followed by a home-made cream tea for which there is a small charge. Individual pieces are mostly short in length and so an ideal concert for families with children.
