Quinte et Plus : Five and more ! Chamber Music Series
Performing chamber music for five musicians and more - professors and students together -
such is the Five and More! Project organized by the Paris Conservatoire.
Within this framework, and thanks to the support of the SYLFF program of the Tokyo
Foundation, the Paris Conservatoire is hosting 8 musicians from Juilliard and the University
of Music and the Arts-Vienna (Austria) from January 24 to February, 2010 to perform works
by Debussy, Villa-Lobos and Schoenberg, alongside Conservatoire musicians and professors
Diana Ligeti and Marc Coppey, cello, Philippe Bernold, flute, and Claude Delangle,
saxophone.
This second three-year project will allow Conservatoire musicians to perform in similar
projects held in Vienna (2009) and New York (2011).
The Sylff program grants are destined for musicians participating in international exchanges
and dancers in the post-graduate program for internships in professional dance companies.
Twenty-three musicians and three dancers received SYLFF grants in 2009
