The Hambleden Concerts 2012
Winner of the 2008 "Concordia Foundation Award" the Duo is one of the most exciting Venezuelan chamber music groups. They will perform Latin American music by Villa-Lobos, Bor, Ginastera, Piazzolla and others and Debussy's cello sonata. Cellist Arturo Serna came through the Venezuelan "El Sistema" music course for young people and both performers appeared at a young age as soloists with the Simon Bolivar orchestra. Tickets for these concerts are £12.50 (Friends £10.00, children £5.00).
