I'm well into my second decade of searching for Villa-Lobos mentions on the web, so I've learned a lot about all the other Villaloboses that are out there. Here are some "false positives": the non-Heitor Villa-Lobos web world.
Ricardo Villalobos: the Chilean techno music star.
Dado Villa-Lobos: guitarist who was once a member of the rock band Legião Urbana.
Shopping Villa-Lobos: a shopping centre in Rio de Janeiro. Often referred to as simply "Villa-Lobos". The centre paid homage to its namesake in the Ano Villa-Lobos by hosting the exhibition "Villa-Lobos: Uma vida em Sete Notas".
Parque Villa-Lobos: a major park in Sao Paulo. Often referred to as simply "Villa-Lobos", as in the ubiquitous Tweet "Went to Villa-Lobos - had fun skating".
Esmerelda Villalobos : a character who appears for only about a half-minute in the 1994 film Pulp Fiction. But the part is so well-written by Quentin Tarantino, and so memorably played by actress Angela Jones, that there's a mini-cult that's grown up around the character. "So what does it feel like to kill a man with your bare hands? It's a topic I'm very interested in."
Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez: speaking of cults, the Immortal main character of the Highlander Saga, who was played by Sean Connery in a series of films, has a sizable web following as well.
Gina Villalobos: a rising alt-country star. I didn't know there was such a thing as alt-country; I don't get out much.
Villalobos Rescue Center : a rescue, rehabilitation and placement facility for abused and abandoned Pit Bulls.
