A few summers ago I made my first trip to Brazil, playing in Rio and Sao Paolo. I returned with my ears opened to the gorgeous melodies and harmonies inherent in Brazilian music. There will be a pre-concert talk: Joanna MacGregor in conversation with David Butcher. 7pm at West Road Concert Hall. This concert will be free to ticket holders.
