A bewitching concert-story about a little girl who loves to sing, who moves to a town where music is forbidden: a town named Hamelin, about thirty years after the infamous Pied Piper has led all of Hamelin's children away. Roberto Gentile Guitar ConcertDate: 02/27/2010 - 21:00 Location: Italy: Castellamonte Work Performed: Preludes for Guitar Etudes for Guitar Cultura - Castellamonte - 25/02/2010 Originario di Chivasso, Gentile ha cominciato lo studio della musica e della chitarra classica sotto la guida del padre. Ha poi proseguito gli studi con il Maestro Vittorio Aprato, laureandosi a pieni voti al Consevatorio "G.F.Ghedini" di Cuneo. Successivamente si e' perfezionato con i Maestri Ghiglia, Laura, Hoppstock e Aprato, cimentandosi in concerti da solista e in formazioni cameristiche. Negli ultimi anni ha approfondito la conoscenza e la prassi esecutiva delle opere di Bach e H.Villa-Lobos tenendone concerti monografici. Ha inoltre vinto diversi premi in Concorsi Nazionali ed Internazionali e dal 2002 ricopre la cattedra di chitarra presso l'Accademia Musicale "Francesco Romana" di Castellamonte. L'ingresso al concerto di sabato è gratuito. |
