Tartini school in Trieste, Italy, where he studied under M. Luciano Gante and pianist Lya De Barberis in Italy and Meisterkurse Zofingen in Switzerland. After receiving awards from the international music competitions in Stresa and Morcone, Italy, Turrin began his career as a soloist, performing in North America and throughout Europe. His tours received wide acclaim from the public and critics alike. Turrin's accomplishments include duet ensembles with violin and clarinet and recordings for television and radio stations. He is on the faculty at the Conservatory of Music "G. Tartini" in Trieste. He has given master classes at SF State, other universities and numerous conservatories. Free.
