This CD includes Louisville Orchestra premiere performances of two great works commissioned by Robert Whitney in the 1950s, originally issued on two famous LPs: Erosao (1952) and Dawn in the Tropical Forest (1954). The CD also includes two more recent stereo recordings, of BB#4 and the Dancas Africanas.
