Sonata for violin and piano no. 4

Appleby Catalogue W number: 
W194

Although Appleby (1988) gives this work the number W194 and the date of composition 1922, and Editions Max Eschig's catalogue lists "Sonate no 4 (1923) (en préparation)", I haven't seen the fourth violin sonata included in live concerts or in recordings (including "complete" recordings of the music for violin and piano).

I'll keep digging...

NEW: According to the 2009 Villa-Lobos: Sua Obra, this score is lost.  It lists Max Eschig as the publisher, and gives the following movement titles:

  • Allegro
  • Andante
  • Scherzo
  • Allegro final
