- On March 14, Villa-Lobos, Varèse and Marcel Mihalovici appear together as composer-conductors. The concert includes Varese's Offrandes and Octandre.

- Bachianas Brasileiras #2 for orchestra (Max Eschig). Dimitri Mitropolous conducted the first performance in Venice, on March 9, 1934.
- Bachianas Brasileiras #4 for piano solo (Associated). Villa-Lobos later arranged this piece for orchestra.
