Noontime Concert Series

Chicago guitarist Jennifer Trowbridge has long been inspired by Brazilian music, especially by guitarist-composer Sergio Assad whose compositions are featured in her upcoming recital. Ms. Trowbridge earned a B.A. in music from the University of Chicago and continued her studies at Northwestern University where she is currently completing a D.M. in guitar performance.

Also a dedicated teacher, she founded The Trowbridge Guitar Studio Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood in 1996 and has been developing unique curricula for both children and adults. She composed music for the documentary film, The Pantanal: Brazil's Forgotten Wilderness, and was awarded several grants from the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs. (www.jennifertrowbridge.com)

Concert Hour is a music enrichment series presented for our students and the community by the Palomar College Performing Arts Department. Concerts take place in the Performance Lab (Room D-10). Doors open at 12:20,with seating on a first-come first-served basis. The program begins at 12:30 and ends at 1:20. Late arrivals are admitted to the hall and seated during a performance pause as long as seats are available. There is no charge for admission.
