Guitar Concert in Bronxville NYDate: 03/29/2009 - 15:00 Location: USA: Bronxville NY Work Performed: Works for Guitar Friends of Library to host classical concert BRONXVILLE - Lawrence Del Casale, a classical concert guitarist, and Colleen Becton, special guest soprano, will perform at 3 p.m. March 29 at the Bronxville Public Library, 201 Pondfield Road. The program includes Spanish music by composers Villa-Lobos, Manuel Maria Ponce, Leo Brouwer, Ernesto Cordero and Antonio Carlos Jobim. Del Casale has been performing throughout the New York metropolitan area since 1983. His first Carnegie Hall recital was in 1985. Becton's accomplishments include several seasons with the Bronx Opera Company and performances at Carnegie Hall and the Blue Note. The concert is hosted by the Friends of the Bronxville Public Library and is free and open to the public. Submitted by Friends of the Bronxville Public Library. Key 1
