Three Centuries of Music from Brazil
London based Brazilian pianist Clelia Iruzun has curated an evening of music from three centuries, reflecting the rich heritage of Brazilian classical music in all its diversity, revealing African, native Brazilian and European influences. Clelia is joined by Brazil based guitarist Fabio Zanon, nominated for a Latin Grammy 2011 for his recording of Francis Hime's guitar concerto, and the Coull Quartet, resident at the University of Warwick. Clelia says: "The classical chamber music of Brazil is a hidden treasure trove which I would like to share with audiences everywhere."
