David Jaggs travels across the south of England this June, to perform his latest repertoire of classical guitar music in Menheniot, South East Cornwall at the end of the month. He will demonstrate both his own virtuosity and that of the classical guitar across a range of genres, within the beautiful setting and excellent acoustics of Menheniot's seven hundred year old church.

After graduating with distinction from the Guildhall School of Music, David studied in the USA under Manuel Barrueco, one of the world's leading classical guitarists. Since then he has played in a series of prestigious master classes and won several prizes and scholarships.

A regular contributor to television and radio programmes, David also has a busy tour schedule, as demonstrated by his appearances in Cornwall and Kent in late June; he also tours ensemble, including with the Scottish Ensemble.

His versatility is demonstrated in his numerous albums, which mostly reflect contemporary and 'easy listening' music, but also include Spanish guitar pieces and the traditional, folk-based feel of his Spirit of Scotland album. In addition, he is currently working on tuition videos on diverse aspects of guitar playing.
