Please join us on Sunday June 3, 2012 at 5PM at Westmoreland Congregational, UCC for our program "From the Amazon to the Appalachians: Music of Villa-Lobos, Jobim, and Copland."

 

For this special concert our orchestra will present the original complete version of Aaron Copland's Appalachian Spring for 13 instruments. Rising Jazz star Lena Seikaly will join us to perform music by Brazilian composer and bosa nova legend Antonio Carlos Jobim. We will also introduce you to rarely heard music by Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos. This is a concert not to be missed!
